1961年、東京生まれ
幼少の頃からオーディオの世界にハマり、その流れで音楽に興味をもち、その両方を必要とするのがレコーデイングエンジニアだと気付き、目指したのが16歳。
1981年に目黒MOD STUDIOでの1年間の経験で、その先の根幹となるモノを学び、その後、いくつかのスタジオを経験。
後のSOUND SKY STUDIO在籍時に、BUCK-TICKを始めL’Arc-en-Ciel、LUNASEAなど、数々のバンドのセッションに関わるようになる。
その後フリーランスとなり現在に至る。
常にどんな状況でも、固定観念にとらわれない柔軟な発想と、オリジナルサウンドを追求する事を信条としています。

Hitoshi HIruma- born in 1961.
My obsession for audio equipment began in my childhood and that was the start to have an interested in music.
When I was at the age of sixteen, I realized that "Recording Engineer" would be exactly what would require skill and knowledge of both music and audio equipment.
In 1981, I learned about the basic methods at Meguro MOD STUDIO for a year and furthered my experience working at a few recording studios afterwards. During my work at SOUND SKY STUDIO, I had a chance to work with BUCK-TICK, L'Arc-en-Ciel, LUNA SEA and more, and allowed me to work with many of the finest artists.
I became self-employed .
I believes in pursuing flexible ideas and original sounds that are not bound by stereotypes under any circumstances.
